Supporters can now vote for the Showcase Cinema de Lux Player of the Month for June.
Each month this season, supporters can cast their vote for their Player of the Month by visiting the Club’s official Twitter account.
We’ve selected four nominees; loanee Conor McKerr, debutante Hamidullah Qadri, opening batsman Billy Godleman and bowler Tony Palladino.
All four enjoyed a successful June, now supporters can vote for their Showcase Cinema de Lux Player of the Month.
Billy Godleman
The Captain scored 213 runs in three Specsavers County Championship fixtures, including 121 in the near win against Nottinghamshire, his third century of the season.
The opener’s 121, leading from the front, put Derbyshire in a good position to record a win against the division leaders, only to be denied their final innings chase by rain.
He is averaging over 50 in the Specsavers County Championship so far this season and also hit 289 runs in the Royal London One-Day Cup campaign.
Hamidullah Qadri
Qadri made his debut against Glamorgan as Derbyshire won their first Specsavers County Championship match in 27 attempts, the spinner taking five second inning wickets including the match-winning delivery.
The 16-year old has been rewarded with an England Under 19s call-up for the five-match Royal London One-Day series against India in August.
The off-spinner returned match figures of 6-76 on debut, including his maiden five-fer on the final day, to help dismiss the hosts for 172 at Cardiff as Derbyshire secured their first Specsavers County Championship win of the season.
Tony Palladino
Palladino has taken 21 wickets in the Specsavers County Championship up to and including the game versus Glamorgan, and the seamer was instrumental in taking four first-innings wickets in the win at Cardiff.
The senior bowler also took a 4-44 in the near win at Trent Bridge last month, including the vital wickets of Cheteshwar Pujara and Samit Patel.
Conor Mckerr
The pace bowler joined Derbyshire on loan from Surrey and made a big impact in the two Specsavers County Championship matches he played.
In his first game for Derbyshire against Nottinghamshire, he took four wickets in the match and finished the first innings unbeaten on 16, adding vital runs as Derbyshire reached a final bonus batting point.
Before being recalled by Surrey, the opening bowler claimed match figures of 10-141 against Northamptonshire, his maiden ten wicket match haul.
