Derbyshire Members can pre-book free transport from The 3aaa County Ground to Queen’s Park, Chesterfield for the Specsavers County Championship match versus Kent, starting on Tuesday 19 September.

Following the successful Custom Solar Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council in early July, Derbyshire will return to Queen’s Park this September for the Specsavers County Championship fixture versus Kent.

The four-day fixture has been moved to Chesterfield to minimise the risk of the pitch at Derby not being fit for play in the event of a period of particularly poor weather at the same time of the Boyzone concert on Saturday 16 September.

The beautiful Queen’s Park held five days of cricket in July as part of the annual festival, with over 9,000 supporters enjoying top class cricket in the town.

The Club is pleased to offer free transport for Derbyshire Members, which will set off from The 3aaa County Ground on each morning of the four-day fixture, arriving at Queen’s Park prior to the 10.30am start time.

Full details of departure times to be confirmed.

Members must book before Monday 18 September at 12noon for each day they wish to use the service.
