Nottinghamshire Second XI closed Day Two of the four-day friendly against Derbyshire Second XI on 132-1 after rain washed out most of the day’s play at Chesterfield.
No play was possible on Day One due to rain and a wet outfield, and rain once again delayed the start on the second day until 3.30pm.
Tom Milnes (1-46) claimed the only wicket in the 20 overs which were possible, before bad light ended the day. Lyndon James top scored with 69 while Billy Root added 47 for the visitors.
