A team captained by Wayne Madsen will take on a Derby County team in the first ever Cricket vs Football: A Question of Sport at The 3aaa County Ground on Thursday 26 October.
The Question of Sport style event, sponsored by Smith Partnership, will see teams representing Cricket Derbyshire and Derby County take each other on in a battle of sporting knowledge.
Derbyshire’s team, led by Wayne Madsen, will feature former bowler Kevin Dean, award-winning BBC Radio Derby commentator Dave Fletcher and the Club’s lead physiotherapist Fran Clarkson.
Full details about Derby County’s team will be announced in the coming week – keep an eye out for it.
The interactive quiz, which will feature some of the hit TV shows most popular rounds including mystery guest and what happens next, will be hosted by Derby QUAD’s Adam Buss.
The event, which will be raising funds for Cricket Derbyshire Foundation and Wayne Madsen Testimonial, will be held in the 3aaa Pavilion and doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm meal. Ticket only arrival is 8pm.
