Sportego extend partnership with Derbyshire

Fan engagement and digital analytic specialists, Sportego, have extended their successful partnership with Derbyshire for 2018 season.  

Sportego, who helped the Club deliver an award-winning T20 Blast marketing campaign in 2017, have become the county’s official Digital Analytic Partners.

The Club achieved record crowds for the T20 Blast last summer, with over 24,000 people watching games in Derbyshire – an all-time record high.

Average attendances also grew to a record high to over 3,400 and the Club achieved sold out crowds for the games against Yorkshire at Chesterfield and the quarter-final against Hampshire.

The collaborative and data-driven work resulted in Derbyshire picking up the Best Campaign Domestic Award at the annual ECB Business of Cricket Awards (BOCAs) in November.

Ryan Duckett, Commercial Director, said: “For the first time, data-driven insights formulated our marketing plan in 2017 and we achieved our best ever year.

“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Sportego, who data and fan engagement expertise helped us to create personalised and targeted campaigns with added impact, leading to increased conversions and a record year.
