Wet areas of the outfield meant no play was possible on Day One of the Second XI Championship match versus Lancashire at Liverpool.
Derbyshire named a strong squad for the Second XI Championship fixture away to Lancashire, but the outfield failed to recover from recent poor weather and play was abandoned following a pitch inspection after an early lunch interval.
The second day of the three-day fixture is due to get underway tomorrow at 11.00am, if conditions permit.
