Further rain in Liverpool meant play was abandoned on Day Two of the Second XI Championship match versus Lancashire without a ball bowled.
Wet areas of the outfield meant no play was possible on Day One and further rainfall today forced the umpires to abandon the day following a pitch inspection during an early lunch interval.
There will be a pitch inspection at 9.00am on the morning of the final day.
