Luis Reece will miss Derbyshire’s remaining Royal London One-Day Cup group games after suffering a broken metatarsal in his right foot.
The all-rounder sustained the injury during the Royal London One-Day Cup fixture versus Yorkshire Vikings on Wednesday. He left the field during Derbyshire’s innings and an x-ray later confirmed the break.
He is due to see a specialist to further assess the injury and determine the best course for his recovery.
The Club will provide a further update in due course.
