With four weeks to go, ticket sales for Vitality Blast matches in Derbyshire are up and big local derbies against Yorkshire Vikings and Notts Outlaws head towards sell-outs.
The Club has received unprecedented demand for the seven home Vitality Blast matches in 2018, with over 8,000 tickets already gone for this summer’s explosive Twenty20 action.
Over 24,000 spectators watched Derbyshire in last summer’s competition and advanced sales ahead of this summer continue to rise, tracking over 25% ahead of this time last year.
60% of tickets have already been claimed for the big local derby against Yorkshire Vikings, taking place at the picturesque Queen’s Park on Saturday 28 July during the Custom Solar Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council.
Last year, the fixture was a complete advance sell out as 5,000 supporters watched Derbyshire Falcons claim a thrilling victory over the Vikings – and it sets to be another sold out fixture in 2018.
The East Midlands derby with current champions Notts Outlaws is at 40% capacity and after 370 runs were scored in the encounter last summer in front of a vocal support, the fixture is expected to sell out this summer, taking place on the prime date of Friday 13 July.
The Club is encouraging supporters to purchase their tickets early to secure their place at this summer’s biggest hit. Early purchasers will save money with our advance ticket offer, while further discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.

Members and Six Pack Ticket holders are reminded that they are required to claim their ticket, at no extra charge, in advance for the fixtures against Yorkshire Vikings and Notts Outlaws.
