Despite an unbeaten ton from Chesney Hughes on Day Two, Derbyshire were unable to force a result in their Second XI Championship match with Yorkshire at Glossop CC.
The commanding century from Hughes (166 not out) helped Derbyshire to a good position, but resolute batting from Yorkshire on the final day meant the game closed in a draw.
Four scores above 30 in the Yorkshire middle-order, led by Jordan Thompson with an unbeaten 65, helped Yorkshire to 246-6 in 66 overs to set Derbyshire 316 runs to win.
With limited overs in which to chase, Derbyshire were forced to settle for a draw and closed on 97-1, with James Kettleborough unbeaten on 63.
