Seconds defeated at Queen's Park

Derbyshire lost to Leicestershire by six wickets on the final day of their Second XI Championship match at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield.

Derbyshire struggled from 198-2 overnight to 311 all out, meaning Leicestershire had to chase just 200 runs to win in their second innings.

Tom Wood top-scored with a well-made 83 and there were runs for James Kettleborough (53) and Callum Brodrick (48), but ultimately Derbyshire lost quick wickets on Day Three as Bowley claimed four for the visitors.

Sam Evans, following on from his century in the first innings, made 37 and Lewis Hill hit a quickfire 80 off 56 balls as Leicestershire chased down 200 to win for the loss of four wickets.
