The 2018 season drew to a close less than one month ago, but attention already turns to next summer as Membership goes on sale this week. Here’s a bite-size round up of the biggest news at the Club.
Membership 2019
Membership prices and categories for 2019 will be announced and go on sale at 10am on Tuesday 23 October.
Club Membership will once again remain as the best value way to watch Derbyshire next summer, offering entry to every home regular season match – that’s over 40 days of cricket.
For 2019, the Club has introduced a host of exciting new benefits as we give you more from your Membership.

Qadri relishing busy 12 months
About to set off for India with England Under 19s, young spinner Hamidullah Qadri is relishing the challenge of balancing his cricket development alongside A-Levels.
With a level head and a desire to perform well both on the field and in the classroom, the 17-year-old is far from overwrought by the prospect of playing cricket in the final year of his studies – instead he wants to enjoy the experience and get the most out of it.
He said: “I’m in the final year of my A-Levels, but I’m obviously delighted to go with the Under 19s to India. It’s a good opportunity for me to develop my game and obviously it’s challenging, but that’s what life is about and you have to make the most of it and enjoy it.”

Last week of Heritage Exhibition
After a highly successful month of exhibiting Derbyshire cricket memorabilia at Erewash Museum in Ilkeston, just four dates remain for the Cricket Derbyshire Foundation (CDF).
The collection, brought together as part of the CDF’s Heritage Project, includes photographs, books, cuttings and player’s items – all showcasing cricket in Derbyshire.
Members and supporters are encouraged to visit the exhibition, bring along any of their own cricket memorabilia, and discuss their memories of cricket in the county.
The exhibition will be open on the following dates:
Tuesday 23 October 10am – 4pm
Thursday 25 October 10am – 4pm
Friday 26 October 10am – 4pm
Saturday 27 October 10am – 4pm
