In a new feature, the Club will be showcasing videos from the Cricket Derbyshire Foundation’s Oral History of Cricket in Derbyshire project, as we look at some #WeAreDerbyshire Stories.
The project, which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has recorded recollections from almost 200 participants, including former and current players, and focused on audio-visual reminiscences about cricket at every level within the county, from grassroots to the Test arena.
It is this fabric of players, coaches, volunteers and supporters which all contribute greatly to make up cricket in Derbyshire.
