In a new feature, the Club will be showcasing videos from the Cricket Derbyshire Foundation’s Oral History of Cricket in Derbyshire project, as we look at some #WeAreDerbyshire Stories.
The project, which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has recorded recollections from almost 200 participants, including former and current players, and focused on audio-visual reminiscences about cricket at every level within the county, from grassroots to the Test arena.
It is this fabric of players, coaches, volunteers and supporters which all contribute greatly to make up cricket in Derbyshire.
In this second edition of #WeAreDerbyshire Stories, following on from Wayne Madsen last week, Geoff Miller discusses winning silverware with Derbyshire, right through to the start of his speaking career.
