Derbyshire has named a 12-man squad for the three-day first-class fixture against Leeds/Bradford MCCU at The Pattonair County Ground, starting on Tuesday 26 March; 10.30am.

Billy Godleman captains a strong side in Derbyshire’s first match of the season, with Wayne Madsen and Luis Reece to support Godleman at the top of the order.

Van Beek said: “It’s non-stop cricket in county cricket, but it’s nice to put on the Derbyshire kit ready to get into it.

“It’s really good to meet the guys and the staff. It’s going to be a big year of learning, but I want to contribute with performances on the field.
