In the latest edition of our #WeAreDerbyshire Stories feature, Derbyshire’s Fran Clarkson discusses her role as Lead Physiotherapist at the club.
The Cricket Derbyshire Foundation’s Oral History of Cricket in Derbyshire project, which is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, has recorded recollections from over 200 participants.
These include former and current players, and focused on audio-visual reminiscences about cricket at every level within the county, from grassroots to the Test arena.
It is this fabric of players, coaches, volunteers and supporters which all contribute greatly to make up cricket in Derbyshire.
In this eighteenth edition, Clarkson also talks about the process of dealing with player injuries and how she works closely with Strength and Conditioning Coach Jonty Norris.
