It was an eventful Day One in the Specsavers County Championship game against Leicestershire, as fourteen wickets fell to set up a finely-poised second day. 

Wayne Madsen’s 47 was the top score, as Derbyshire were dismissed for 139 amid tough conditions at The Fischer County Ground.

Tony Palladino led the fightback with the ball, as he took three wickets and went at 0.33 runs per over as Derbyshire had their opponents 55-4 at the close with the game progressing quickly.
