Batsman Tom Lace has been recalled by Middlesex from his loan spell at Derbyshire.
The 20-year-old goes into Middlesex’s squad to face Leicestershire in the Specsavers County Championship at Lord’s tomorrow.
Lace is set to return to Derbyshire on loan for the remainder of the season, before the county’s four-day fixture against Glamorgan at The Pattonair County Ground, starting on Sunday 19 May.
He has enjoyed a positive start to the season, recording three consecutive half-centuries in the Specsavers County Championship, including a career-best 83 against Gloucestershire.
