Derbyshire claimed five wickets on Day Three, but were beaten in a one-innings Second XI Championship game against Yorkshire.
Rain on Day One meant Derbyshire declared on 379-9 on the second day of the game, before a double-declaration meant a result was possible and Yorkshire were set a target of 380 to win.
Ari Karvelas (2-77) and Williams (2-67) shared four wickets, while Daryn Smit claimed two catches and one stumping. However, 124 from Will Friane and 92 not out from Jordan Thompson led the hosts to a five-wicket victory at York Cricket Club.
Having powered along with the bat on Day Two, Derbyshire would have been hoping to achieve similar success with the ball on Day Three, but a 103-run opening partnership between Fraine and Bilal Anjam (31) got the hosts off to a good start.
The latter was dismissed when Williams had him caught behind by Smit and after adding 28 in an 84-run stand with Fraine, Bean was dismissed lbw by Karvelas, which brought Thompson to the crease.
With the two highest-scorers at the crease, Friane brought up his hundred 144 balls, including 17 fours. He would strike a further four balls to the boundary before falling when stumped by Smit off Marshall.
Any momentum gained by Derbyshire from getting the centurion out faded during a partnership of 92 between Thompson and Revis (40), which put the hosts in a strong position.
Revis was caught by McGladdery off the bowling of Karvelas, while Matthew Fisher departed without troubling the scorers when he was caught behind off Williams.
The quick wickets gave Derbyshire a chance of fighting their way back into the game, but 33 not out by Ben Birkhead and an unbeaten 92 by Thompson saw Yorkshire to a five-wicket victory on the final day at York.
