Harvey Hosein’s battling 29 wasn’t enough to prevent Derbyshire from defeat to Lancashire on Day Three of the Specsavers County Championship game.
Hosein and Alex Hughes (16) put on 40 runs for the fifth wicket, as Graham Onions (5-38) and James Anderson (4-29) dismissed the hosts before lunch on the third morning.
Lancashire hit the winnings runs to secure a ten-wicket victory for the Division Two leaders.
