Last year, Ravi Rampaul made his mark against Yorkshire, taking four wickets for just 19 runs as Derbyshire beat their rivals by five wickets at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield.
Rampaul claimed the wickets of Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Adam Lyth, Tim Bresnan and Liam Plunkett as the hosts restricted Yorkshire to 166-8 from their 20 overs.
Derbyshire get their Vitality Blast campaign underway at home to Yorkshire Vikings on Saturday 20 July in a big local derby at the picturesque Queen’s Park.
They welcome rivals Notts Outlaws to The Pattonair County Ground the following Friday (26 July) in what is expected to be another hotly-contested match-up in front of a packed crowd in Derby.
Led by new Twenty20 Head Coach, Dominic Cork, the Falcons play a total of seven home matches during the height of summer in July and August.
Tickets for all matches are on sale now, from just £16 for adults and £4 for juniors, while group bookings receive further discounts.
