The club is saddened to hear that former Derbyshire Committee member, John Bolton, passed away earlier this week.
Heritage Officer, David Griffin, commented, “John joined Derbyshire in the 1970s, became a Life Member in 1990, and was elected to the General Committee at the turn of the century, retiring in 2009.
“He was the keenest of supporters, watching Derbyshire both home and away for several decades, and it was only ill health which prevented him from continuing to be a regular at Derby.
“John was well-known and well-liked, and everyone at Derbyshire sends his family and friends their condolences.”
Derbyshire County Cricket Club would like to extend its condolences to John’s family and friends.
