Derbyshire County Cricket Club is pleased to introduce reusable cups, starting with this summer’s Vitality Blast, as part of its commitment to reducing single-use plastic waste.
As part of this initiative, reusable cups will be mandatory across all bars at The Pattonair County Ground, starting with the East Midlands Derby against Notts Outlaws this Friday (7pm start).
Purchased for a refundable deposit of £1, the cups will be used for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and can be refilled throughout each matchday, before being returned or kept as a souvenir.
The Club has been working hard to improve the service we offer at our bars and 2019 will see more bars spread around The Pattonair County Ground throughout the Vitality Blast.
Bars will be located around the ground, including pop-up units offering a variety of different drinks, as well as the refurbished Stowford Press Boundary Bar which serves the main Exeve Falcons Stand.
New additions such as Gordon’s Gin & Tonic cans, as well as glasses of Prosecco, will be available.
Members have exclusive access to the bar within the Pattonair Members’ Lounge in the Pattonair Pavilion.
Catering units will also be located around the ground offering a wide range of food options. Kids meals will be available at a number of catering units, including those located by the Showcase Cinema de Lux Family Stand.
Please note there will be no food in the Pattonair Members’ Lounge.
Please be advised that supporters are not permitted to bring alcohol into the ground.
All outdoor bars and catering units now accept card payments. While we still advise visitors to bring cash, catering units at The Pattonair County Ground now accept card payments (minimum transaction fees may apply).
