Cricket’s most explosive format returns to The Pattonair County Ground this month with Derbyshire to host seven home matches in the Vitality Blast in July and August.
The Twenty20 competition gets underway in little under three weeks, with the Falcons opening their Blast campaign with a blockbuster clash against Yorkshire at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield on Saturday 20 July.
They follow that up by resuming the East Midlands Rivalry just six days later, when The Pattonair County Ground hosts Notts Outlaws under the lights on Friday 26 July.
Both of the opening two home fixtures are expected to have good crowds, with tickets selling well for each game so don’t delay if you would like to see explosive Vitality Blast cricket against Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire.
Derbyshire close out July on Sunday 28, when the Falcons face Lancashire Lightning in the Family Fixture, which will begin at 2.30pm.
In August, there are a hat-trick of evening home games in just six days, with Derbyshire facing Durham on Friday 9 August, Worcestershire Rapids on Tuesday 13 August and then Leicestershire Foxes on Thursday 15 August, there’s plenty of chances to enjoy a night of cricket in Derby.
The final home game of the scheduled Vitality Blast matches is against Northants Steelbacks and takes place on Friday 23 August in a 7pm start.
Tickets for all seven home games are on sale now and start at just £16 for adults and £4 for juniors when bought in advance of the fixture.
