Watt selected by Scotland

Mark Watt has been selected by Scotland for their Cricket World Cup League Two fixtures against Oman and Papua New Guinea.

Watt has been ever-present for the Derbyshire Falcons in the Vitality Blast this season, claiming five wickets at an average of 22.40 in three matches.

He has been named in a 14-man squad by Scotland, which will first face Oman on Thursday 15 August. As a result, Watt will miss Derbyshire’s Vitality Blast fixtures against Leicestershire Foxes on the same day, as well as the match against Notts Outlaws on Friday 16 August.
