Derbyshire face Australia in the three-day Aston Lark Tourist Fixture, starting on Thursday 29 August; 11am.

If you are joining us for this fixture, please read the information below which will ensure that your visit is safe, enjoyable and comfortable.

Gates Open: 9.30am
Start: 11.00am
Lunch: 1.00pm
Tea: 3.40pm (approx.)
Scheduled close: 6.00pm


Ticket Information

Supporters can save £4 by purchasing their matchday tickets in advance of the day of the game. Tickets will also be available on the gate for this fixture.

Tickets in advance: Adults £16, Juniors £4, Students £10
Tickets available on the gate:
Adults £20, Juniors £5, Students £10
Car Parking on the day: £5 per car

If you are collecting pre-purchased tickets for the fixture on the day, the Ticket Collection Point will be located by the main Pattonair Pavilion entrance. If you plan on driving to the match and need to collect tickets, please first park and then follow stewards’ directions to the Ticket Collection Point.

The Ticket Collection Point will be open from 9.30am – 11am.


World Cup Trophy

Have your photo taken with the ICC Cricket World Cup trophy on Days Two and Three.

The iconic trophy, which was won by England back in July, will be on display by the Club Shop from 2.00pm onwards on Day Two (Friday 30 Aug).


Ground Access & Parking

Pedestrian Access: Entry to the ground will be available via the Pattonair Pavilion entrance, off Pentagon Roundabout, via Sir Frank Whittle Way. Gates open at 9.30am. Please note that there will be additional security checks at the gate, so please give plenty of time to enter the ground.

A reminder that dogs are not allowed entry at Tourist fixtures.

General Spectator Parking: This will be available via the entrance off Sir Frank Whittle Way (A61) next to Travelodge and will be signed from Nottingham Rd and the Pentagon Island.

If you plan on driving to the match and need to collect tickets, please first park and then follow stewards’ directions to the Ticket Collection Point.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club stewards will guide you to a car park space and please follow their directions.

Disabled parking spaces are available in the Pattonair Pavilion car park.

While the Club will always try to accommodate all vehicles visiting the ground, ALL parking will be on a first come, first served basis. Please plan your journey in advance and arrive early guarantee your on-site matchday parking.

A52 Roadworks

Derby City Council improvement works continue on the A52, with journey times potentially affected for supporters travelling to The Pattonair County Ground via the A52.

Derbyshire County Cricket Club is advising all Members and supporters to note the planned works, relevant road closures and plan their journey in advance, allowing time for disruption.

Seats & Viewing

Indoor & Outdoor: A small amount of indoor seating is available for all visitors in the Stowford Press Boundary Bar, while all outdoor seating is unreserved.

Member Facilities: The Pattonair Members’ Lounge, located on the top-floor of the Pattonair Pavilion will be for the exclusive use of Members and designated guests. Seating indoors and on the balcony is unreserved, while there will be food available as well as a pay bar facility.

Showcase Cinema de Lux Family Stand: The Club’s Family Stand is located in the blue seating adjacent to the WDS Business & Media Centre. Catering, toilets and family activities will be located behind the stand.


Food and Drink

Catering units will also be located around the ground offering a wide range of food and drink options. Kids meals will be available at selected units.

Supporters are also permitted to bring in their own food and drink, but no tins or cans.

Please be advised that supporters are not permitted to bring alcohol into the ground.

Catering units at The Pattonair County Ground now accept card payments (minimum transaction fees may apply. Subject to availability). We still advise visitors to bring cash as no cash machines are available on site.


Reusable Cups

Derbyshire County Cricket Club is pleased to introduce reusable cups as part of its commitment to reducing single-use plastic waste.

As part of this initiative, reusable cups will be mandatory across all bars at The Pattonair County Ground.

Purchased for a refundable deposit of £1, the cups will be used for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and can be refilled throughout each matchday, before being returned or kept as a souvenir.
