No play was possible on Day Two of the three-day Second XI friendly between Derbyshire and Yorkshire at Belper Meadows.
The visitors were set to resume on 181-7 on the second morning, but heaving rain meant that play was unable to get underway, with the day being abandoned before lunch.
Yorkshire and Derbyshire will begin Day Three at Belper Meadows still hopeful of a result, with the visitors leading the hosts by 33 runs after 17 wickets fell on the opening day.
