Derbyshire’s return to red-ball action by hosting Gloucestershire in the Specsavers County Championship, starting on Sunday.
Captain Billy Godleman, Luis Reece, Wayne Madsen and Tom Lace make up the top-order in a 12-man squad, with Derbyshire currently seventh in the Division Two table.
Leus du Plooy is also named alongside Fynn Hudson-Prentice, Alex Hughes and Matt Critchley as further batting options, while Harvey Hosein returns to the squad.
Seamers Tony Palladino, Ravi Rampaul and Logan van Beek are also named in the squad.

Gloucestershire sit third in the Specsavers County Championship Division Two table, having won three and drawn five of their ten matches this season.
Ryan Higgins (744) and Chris Dent (722) have both scored more than 700 runs in the campaign, with the former averaging 67.64 in Division Two.
With the ball, Higgins again leads the way with 35 wickets at an average of 24.77, while David Payne has claimed 32 dismissals at 26.06 for Gloucestershire this season.
Tomorrow’s visitors have signed young fast-bowler Ben Allison on a four-week loan from Essex, and the 19-year-old is available for selection in the squad for tomorrow.
