Derbyshire return to red-ball action as they travel to face Lancashire in the Specsavers County Championship at Emirates Old Trafford.

Billy Godleman continues in the top-order alongside Luis Reece, Wayne Madsen and Leus du Plooy, with all four having scored runs in Saturday’s win over Gloucestershire.

Alex Hughes struck the winning runs in the quarter-final, and he is named in the squad with Matt Critchley, Fynn Hudson-Prentice and Anuj Dal.

Ravi Rampaul is likely to continue with the new ball, while spinner Hamidullah Qadri is named in the squad to face Lancashire.

Lancashire top Division Two, having won six games in the Specsavers County Championship, with the Old Trafford side yet to taste defeat.

Dane Vilas is approaching 1.000 runs for the season in first-class cricket, having made 965 at an average of 107.22, including six half-centuries and two centuries.

With the ball, Graham Onions has claimed the most wickets with 42, while James Anderson’s 30 wickets at 9.37 tops the charts for averages this season for Lancashire.
