Veteran journalist Brian Scovell will be the next speaker in the Derbyshire Cricket Society lunchtime Winter Programme 2019-20 on Thursday 28 November.
Scovell has been reporting on cricket and football since the early 1950s including working for the Daily Sketch and the Daily Mail for a combined total of 40 years. He covered over 350 test matches and a similar number of international football matches. During his career he has met and interviewed many of the giants of both games.
Joining the Derbyshire Cricket Society for 2019/20 is only £5 and the most cost effective way to attend. This can be discussed when booking. Bookings must be made by Thursday 21 November at the latest.
Please note that his month’s venue has been moved and is now in the Pattonair Lounge in the Pattonair Pavillion.
