Billy Godleman’s 52 was not enough as the MCC were beaten by Nepal in the second 50-over match of the Legacy Tour.

Godleman was in exhilarating form during his 38-ball innings, smashing eight fours and two sixes, while his opening partner Will Rhodes struck 54.

However, a first-wicket partnership of 73 was not built upon, and the MCC side were all out for 201 inside 40 overs, with Pawan Sarraf (4-31) and Lalit Rajbanshi (4-40) sharing eight wickets.

Yasir Arafat’s 3-43 helped reduce Nepal to 135-5, before a 70-run partnership between Binod Bhandari (52 not out) and Sarraf (38 not out) saw the hosts secure a five-wicket victory.
