The Vitality Blast returns to Derbyshire in May 2020, as the Falcons go in search of a second-consecutive Finals Day appearance.
The 2019 campaign saw record crowds support the Falcons at both The Pattonair County Ground, and Queen’s Park, with back-to-back sell outs against local rivals Yorkshire Vikings and Notts Outlaws.
Seven home games across evenings and weekends in May, June and July sees the most explosive form of cricket hit Derbyshire on prime dates, with good crowds expected once again.
Local rivalries will be reignited when the Falcons host Notts Outlaws in the East Midlands Derby on Friday 5 June, under the lights with a 7pm start.
Last season’s fixture was played in front of a sell-out crowd, and 2020 promises to be a mouthwatering encounter as two of last season’s semi-finalists aim to settle old scores.
Twenty20 action returns to the picturesque Queen’s Park on Saturday 20 June as part of the Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, with the Falcons aiming for a seventh-straight win over Yorkshire in the format.
