Derbyshire is pleased to announce it will provide an enhanced Match Centre and Live Stream service in 2021, free for all supporters.
Following the club throughout the summer has never been easier, with a dedicated Match Centre per fixture, directly accessible from the home page on a Matchday, providing a live scorecard, stats widgets, video clips and a live stream (where applicable).
The upgraded service, which is delivered in partnership with the club’s Lead Digital Sponsor, Purpose Media, will be free to access for all supporters.
The Derbyshire-based full-service digital agency took on the club’s brief of creating a one-stop Match Centre focussed on each fixture and providing supporters with the information they need to follow Derbyshire during the summer.
Thinking creatively and providing innovative solutions, Purpose Media continue to support Derbyshire in its ambition to make cricket accessible to all.
The live streams, which will cover all Derbyshire home cricket in 2021, subject to broadcast restrictions, now feature;
The additional roving cameras, which will focus on ball tracking, as well as celebrations and the bowler’s run-up, are being operated by University of Derby Journalism students, furthering the club’s long-standing partnership with the University, which aims to offer opportunities for students to gain practical experience across all departments at The Incora County Ground.
