All-rounder Anuj Dal will be out for around two weeks with a broken finger.

Dal, 24, has not featured for the Falcons since the opening game of the Vitality Blast against Lancashire Lightning at Emirates Old Trafford, where he picked up a shoulder injury. He has since been named in T20 squads, but has now suffered a new setback.

He joins a lengthy injury list, with regular first team players such as Wayne Madsen, Alex Hughes and Sam Conners all currently sidelined.

However, youngster Nils Priestley has recovered from a shoulder strain and is available for selection once again, while Ben Aitchison could feature in the LV= County Championship fixture against Nottinghamshire.

Full injury list below:

Alex Hughes Side strain/rib injury 4-6 weeks
Dustin Melton Heel bone stress 4-6 weeks
Nick Potts Ankle impingement 4-6 weeks
