Ground Access by Car: Entry by car will be via Pentagon Island towards the main Incora Pavilion gates, or via Sir Frank Whittle Way if coming from north of Derby.
Ample on-site Car Parking is available and we ask supporters to arrive after the 9.30am ground opening and to not queue outside the venue prior to this time.
Parking: Parking will be in the Incora Pavilion car park and adjacent overflow area, and via the Frank Whittle Road entrance. Disabled parking spaces are available in the Incora Pavilion car park.
Ground Access by Foot/Public Transport: Pedestrians who walk to the venue or arrive by public transport can enter via the main Incora Pavilion entrance.
Ticket Scanning: Once parked, or at the venue entrance on foot, all supporters will be required to pass through a scanning checkpoint, as directed by signage and on-site stewards. This will be via the main Pavilion entrance. Those who park in the Car Park off Sir Frank Whittle Way will be directed on foot around to the main entrance for entry checks.
You must present your Membership card or match ticket to be scanned (club-issued printed ticket, printed e-ticket, or e-ticket displayed on a smartphone).
Hand sanitiser will be provided at the entrance, along with points all around the ground, and we encourage all supporters to regularly sanitise where possible.
NHS Track & Trace: To support the NHS Track & Trace system and help reduce the spread of Covid-19, scanning data will be securely stored for 21 days and essential data will be made available to the NHS upon request. All supporters are required to comply with NHS Track & Trace requirements and are asked to not travel to our venue if they do not wish to participate.
We ask all supporters to not travel to The Incora County Ground if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.
Once through the temperature and entry scanning, you will be required to choose a spectator zone. To comply with NHS Track and Trace requirements, you will need to choose a spectator zone to sit in, which includes the designated Members Area (initially the Marquee for County Championship matches whilst social distancing policies remain in place). You must remain in your chosen zone for the entirety of your time within the ground, using the toilet and catering facilities in that specific zone only.
The Ground Map below shows the spectator zones and this map will also be visible upon arrival for you to make your decision.
Seats & Viewing: Once you have chosen your zone and made your way to that area of the ground as directed by signage and stewards, you will be asked to once again scan your Membership card or match ticket at the zone entrance.
Seats will be clearly labelled with ticks and supporters must only sit on seats with a tick ✔
Please note that, for LV= County Championship fixtures, this method of unallocated seating overrides the seat numbers.
Priority seating for supporters with accessible needs will be available on the front row of the main Falcons Stand and the East Midlands Demolition Stand. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Exiting & Re-entering the Venue: All spectators will be given a coloured wristband corresponding to their chosen spectator zone. Should you wish to leave the venue and return during the same day’s play, you must retain your wristband and return to the same spectator zone. Failure to do so will result in being refused re-entry.
Zone Facilities: Each zone is serviced by catering facilities (further details below), as well as toilets and hand sanitiser stations. The Club encourages all supporters to wash their hands frequently and use the hand sanitiser provided. The Play Area will be closed for this fixture.
The Club reserves the right to close certain spectator zones dependant on weather or attendance.
Due to the numbers in each Membership category and current government guidance, for LV= County Championship matches the Greene King IPA Marquee will become a Members facility, with outdoor seating available, as well as indoor shelter in the event of bad weather (capacity to be monitored in line with government guidelines) and the top floor of the Incora Pavilion will be open for Executive Members only. We hope that as restrictions ease this may change during the summer and we are able to revert to a more normal matchday structure. The Club will trial the opening of the bar in the Marquee based on demand.
A limited catering offering, adhering to the latest government guidelines, will be available during your visit, but you can bring your own food and refreshments to LV=County Championship matches where possible.
As outlined above, the Members Area will be included within the spectator zones and any Member wishing to use the facility, must choose that zone upon entering the ground.
The way we are required to operate on a matchday will be different from your last time with us and, as suggested, it will also likely change throughout the summer, dependant on the government guidelines at the time.
Our operation will be continually reviewed, and the most up-to-date processes will be made available on each Matchday Guide via this page.
The latest key Ground Regulations are:
– All spectators will have their temperature checked on arrival.
– Supporters will not be required to wear a face covering while seated outside. The latest government guidance (available on 17 May 2021 after the latest Membership Pack mailout) states that supporters are not required to wear a mask while seated outside at our venue. Masks are still required to be worn whenever inside, such as in the Members facility, and when moving around outside – such as walking to the catering facilities.
– All spectators will be required to remain in their seat throughout the day’s play, except for when using toilets or making use of the catering facilities within their zone.
– Spectators are not permitted to bring their own chairs or picnic blankets on site.
– Spectators are not currently permitted to bring dogs into the venue
Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s Spectator Code of Conduct can be viewed HERE.
Reception in The Incora Pavilion will be open to service the following collections: Junior caps for Junior Members, lanyards and pin badges for Members, or reusable cups for Blast Pass holders.
These must be collected upon entry and before making your way to your spectator zone.
Club Shop: The Club is unable to open its traditional on-site Club Shop, however a limited offering will be available in Reception for all supporters upon entry to the ground.
This will include replica shirts which are currently 20% off the RRP – just £31.99 for an Adult Vitality Blast Shirt, or £25.59 for Juniors. Not valid for the 10% Members discount, but Members can use their £20 150 Club voucher.
A limited amount of stock is available to purchase online HERE. Vouchers are not valid for online use.
Scorecards: As part of the Club’s initiative to reduce paper waste, scorecards will not be on sale. A blank scorecard template can be downloaded for free, HERE.
As outlined above, supporters are not permitted to travel between zones during a matchday. This policy remains in place in the event of bad weather.
The only covered seating zone is the East Midlands Demolition Stand.
Executive Members may use the top floor of the Incora Pavilion, while the Greene King IPA Marquee will be used as a Members facility (further details above).
Supporters are encouraged to check the latest weather forecast before planning their visit and prepare accordingly. While refreshments will be available within each zone, the Club advises supporters to bring plenty of bottled water.
If it is raining on the morning of a matchday approaching the start time (11am), we encourage supporters not to travel if they live locally and to wait for the rain to stop.
All official updates on play, which are provided solely by the Match Officials, will be communicated via the Club’s Twitter account HERE. You do not need to sign-up for a Twitter account to see these updates.
Check the BBC Weather forecast for Derby HERE.
Each Spectator Zone will be serviced by catering facilities, providing the a fresh hot and cold food offering.
The Members facility (Greene King IPA Marquee) will trial the use of a paid bar and this will be monitored based on demand.
Incora Executive Members are able to pre-order hot food, to be eaten on the top floor of the Incora Pavilion, via our new Tell The Chef system. Executive Members have been sent an email with details of how to do this. For any issues linked to pre-ordering, please email [email protected].
From the start of the 2021 season, Derbyshire will operate a cashless policy across all Club-managed points of sale on site – from ticket gates, to catering.
There are two reasons for this, the first being a proven increase in the speed of service when accepting card payments only and the second being hygiene as part of our commitment to keeping spectators and staff safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
All of our catering and bar tills will accept all major debit/credit cards, as well as contactless payment options, including Apple and Android Pay.
The Incora County Ground is located next to the Pentagon Roundabout just off the A52.
