Here, we rank Tina’s greatest hits from 1-5, but don’t take our word for it, which song do you think is ‘Simply The Best’? Tweet us using the hashtag #MyTinaHit to let us know!

5. GoldenEye

There are only 23 artists in history who have had the privilege of writing a song for a James Bond movie, and Tina Turner definitely delivered with her 1995 hit ‘GoldenEye’ for the film of the same name.

Esquire ranked Turner’s track in the top ten best ‘Bond songs’, alongside the likes of Shirley Bassey (twice), Paul McCartney and, more recently, Billie Eilish.

4. Private Dancer

This 1984 hit combined a melodic beat with Tina’s signature vocals to create an all out pop ballad. Interestingly, the song was originally intended for Dire Straits, but was never used, before Turner made it into one of her greatest hits.

3. Proud Mary

Originally performed by the band Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1969, Turner covered the song in 1970, before re-recording it in 1993 for the movie What’s Love Got to do With It.

Her version of the song is arguably the biggest and most well-known, and it’s a tune sure to get the crowd going at The Incora County Ground on Saturday 21 August.

2. What’s Love Got to Do with It

The placing of this song is controversial, because it is Tina’s most successful hit, and even inspired the aforementioned 1993 movie of the same name, based on the singer’s life.

A truly legendary song, from the album ‘Private Dancer’, which sold more than 10 million copies worldwide, is bound to get you pumped up, with a powerful chorus.

1. The Best

Simply, The Best! What more can we say?

This 1989 hit is known all over the world and is arguably Tina Turner’s signature hit! We can’t wait to hear this one live later this month.
