Shan Masood struck 190 from just 172 balls for Balochistan in their Quaid-e-Azam defeat to Northern.
Masood, who will join Derbyshire for the entire 2022 season, was the standout performer on Day One of the fixture, scoring at a strike-rate of 110 and hitting 23 fours, five sixes.
The score of 190 is a season-high for Masood, who scored 502 runs at an average of 71.71, including three centuries, for Balochistan, despite only playing four games for the team.
Pakistan international, Masood, will now turn his attention to the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he will represent the Multan Sultans, who will be looking to retain their crown after winning the 2021 competition. The PSL begins on Thursday 27 January, with Masood’s Multan Sultans taking on Karachi Kings.
