Further musical entertainment will come to Derbyshire this summer, with An Evening of Queen returning to The Incora County Ground and An Evening of ABBA set to dazzle at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield.
Following successive tours across packed-out venues, including playing in front of a sold-out Derbyshire crowd in 2019, An Evening of Queen brings a collection of legendary hits to Derby on Friday 5 August.
Taking place on Friday 10 June, as a precursor to the BRM Solicitors Chesterfield of Cricket, in association with Chesterfield Borough Council, An Evening of ABBA will be the second concert to be hosted at Queen’s Park in as many years, combining the picturesque setting with all-time classic hits.
The events, delivered in partnership with Square Leg Promotions, will see star-studded casts comprised of the West End’s biggest and brightest acts performing chart-topping hits at the height of summer.
Chief Executive, Ryan Duckett, said: “These concerts are always a hugely popular part of our events calendar, and it’s exciting to be hosting events in both Derby and Chesterfield once again.
“The cast and production are of the highest quality and with songs from Queen and ABBA, we have a great variety of music on offer this summer and are looking forward to welcoming people from across the county to these events.”
