With Derbyshire gearing up to face India in T20 action on Friday 1 July, we take a look at the stars of the IPL who could feature at The Incora County Ground.

KL Rahul struck a blistering 103* off just 60 deliveries for Lucknow Super Giants against Mumbai Indians. He was ably supported by Manish Pandey, whose quickfire 38 helped power them to an 18-run victory.

Avesh Khan was perhaps the unsung hero of the LSG success, his figures of 3-30 from four overs proved the difference between the sides, ensuring captain Rohit Sharma and teenage South African sensation Dewald Brevis could not fire to their full effect.

Chennai Super Kings’ sizeable knock of 216 was driven by eight sixes from the bat of Shivam Dube. His match-winning innings of 95 not out, with a 200-strike-rate, was partnered ably by Robin Uthappa’s 88. Could Dube be seen at The Incora County Ground this summer?

Rivalling Jos Buttler for the coveted Aramco Orange Cap, awarded to the season’s highest-run-scorer, Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 87 from 52 balls as he faced up against the England wicketkeeper-batter’s Rajasthan Royals. Pandya’s Gujarat Titans are currently top of the IPL standings.

Rounding off this week’s IPL Watch, 22-year-old Umran Malik claimed six wickets across two matches, including Sunday’s spell of 4-28 against Punjab Kings. Could the promising quick be facing up to Shan Masood and Leus du Plooy this July?
