Pre-Match Talk
Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, said he was impressed with Derbyshire’s cricket over all four days of their LV= County Championship draw with Sussex.
After asking Sussex to follow-on, Derbyshire led by 331 at the start of Day Three, but double-hundreds by Tom Haines and Chateshwar Pujara saved the game for the visitors.
Arthur felt that Derbyshire’s intensity and discipline was good across the game, and they didn’t always get the rewards their bowling deserved on the final day.
