Watt to play for Second XI on Tuesday

Monday 16th May 2022

Mark Watt will feature for Derbyshire’s Second XI in Tuesday’s T20 fixture against Leicestershire at The Incora County Ground (2pm start).

The Scotland international has re-signed with Derbyshire for the entire Vitality Blast campaign, having previously represented the county in 2019, taking 4-19 against Yorkshire Vikings at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield.

Watt, who has been described as ‘the finger spinner of last year’s T20 World Cup.’ by Head of Cricket, Mickey Arthur, will arrive at The Incora County Ground on Monday, before playing for the Second XI the next day.

Entry will be free for all spectators, with designated areas of seating open. No catering facilities will be open and the Club advises supporters to bring food and drink, as well as appropriate clothing for the weather, with the Members’ Lounge closed.

Please note there will be no live stream for this fixture.
