Derbyshire Abroad: Harrison lifts T20 silverware

Young all-rounder, Archie Harrison, picked up 2-31, as Northern Districts Cricket Club were crowned Cricket Illawarra Twenty20 champions. 

Harrison, who signed his first professional deal with Derbyshire last month, backed up his performance with the ball by scoring 20, as the Butchers chased down 108 to beat University in the final at the King George V Oval.

Harry Came top-scored with an impressive 95 for Claremont as they beat Kraaifontein by 49 runs in the Western Province Premier League 50-over.

Brooke Guest top-scored with 41, but South Perth were beaten by Bayswater-Morley, while Luis Reece’s Gosnell’s fell to Claremont-Nedlands in the Western Australian Cricket Association – 1st Grade.

Leus du Plooy helped the Boland Rocks to four wins in their opening six CSA T20 Challenge fixtures, putting them third in the table.
