East Midlands Derby: One month to go!

Tuesday 9th May 2023

The East Midlands Derby between Derbyshire Falcons and Notts Outlaws is just one month away.

The huge Vitality Blast clash will take place at The Incora County Ground on Friday 9 June, starting at 6.30pm, as Mickey Arthur’s Falcons look to claim local bragging rights against an Outlaws side led by former England Head Coach, Peter Moores.

The likes of Wayne Madsen, Haider Ali and George Scrimshaw will take on Alex Hales, Shaheen Afridi and Colin Munro, with both teams aiming for a place in the knockout stages, after Derbyshire achieved a club-record nine wins in 2020.

Derbyshire have enjoyed success in the Vitality Blast in recent years, reaching the knockout stages in three of the last six seasons, while Notts are looking to return to the quarter-finals after a disappointing 2022 campaign.
