The exciting action gets underway from 11am, as Derbyshire’s Sarah Glenn and The Blaze take on Danni Wyatt’s Southern Vipers, with a host of England stars gearing up for this summer’s Ashes series against Australia.
Then, at 3pm, Mickey Arthur’s Derbyshire Falcons, includng Haider Ali, Zaman Khan and Wayne Madsen, take on a Northants Steelbacks side boasting the big-hitting Chris Lynn.
All tickets purchased for Family Day cover both fixtures.
But that’s not all, there will be plenty of tasty treats and fun activations for the whole family, so come to The Incora County Ground and enjoy the Best Domestic Spectator Experience in County Cricket, as chosen by spectators last summer.
A host of delectable delights!
This year, we’ve expanded the food and drink offering at The Incora County Ground to include a whole host of new flavours, with Family Day being the debut of a new vegetarian and vegan range, The Big Cheese Toastie and bespoke doughnuts from Project D, in addition to wood-fired pizza, authentic Indian cuisine, ice cream, burgers and fries.
One top of that, extra catering and pop-up bar facilities will be available for Vitality Blast matches, serving a wide range of low and no-alcohol options, plus favourites including draught beers and ciders, bottled beers, wines, prosecco, Pimm’s and cocktails in glasses or carafes, and soft drinks.
Reserved seating and fun for the whole family
Enjoy Family Day together, with the Showcase Cinema de Lux Family Zone at The Incora County Ground.
Successfully launched in 2022, the allocated seating in the Family Zone means you can secure your seats and ensure your group is together as the action unfolds on the field.
A variety of activations will be running on the day, such as demonstrations by We Are Padel, the new and innovative sport which is taking Europe by storm. The Derbyshire Cricket Foundation will also be providing a host of fun activities, such as a bouncy castle, cricket speed cage and much, much more!
Want to meet your Falcons heroes? The likes of Haider Ali, Zaman Khan, George Scrimshaw and Leus du Plooy will all be signing autographs after the game!
Inclusive additions!
In 2022, The Incora County Ground was named the Best Domestic Spectator Experience, and this year promises to be even better, with added emphasis on accessibility and improved facilities.
With the appointment of county cricket’s first ever Disability Liaison Officer, Lily Smith, added wheelchair bays in prime viewing areas and a new toilet block and changing places facility, we are committed to ensuring every visitor to The Incora County Ground enjoys a comfortable and exciting experience.
