Derbyshire spinner, Sarah Glenn, has been named in the England squad for the T20 portion of the Women’s Ashes series.
Glenn has been in imperious form for The Blaze this season, taking 11 wickets across nine white ball appearances, conceding just 5.33 runs-per-over, as she helped her side reach the Charlotte Edwards Cup final.
The Derbyshire bowler, who is ranked number four in the world for IT20s, has claimed 55 wickets in 46 international T20 appearances, at an average of 16.89.
Having tasted defeat in the opening Test match of the series, England will be looking to bounce back in the T20 series, starting on Saturday 1 July at Edgbaston.

England return to The Incora County Ground in 2023 for a huge Vitality IT20 against Sri Lanka on Wednesday 6 September (6pm).
England have lost just once at Derby since 2017, with the ground becoming one of the premiere venues for women’s international cricket in the country, having hosted blockbuster clashes against India, West Indies, New Zealand and South Africa in recent years.
