Derbyshire fast bowler, George Scrimshaw, has been named in the England squad for the Metro Bank One Day International series against Ireland, starting later this month.
Scrimshaw has claimed 57 T20 wickets in 40 games for the Club and made his England Lions debut in 2022, claiming figures of 1-64 against South Africa during a List A Tour Fixture.
The 25-year-old has been named in the full England squad for the first time, alongside fellow uncapped duo Sam Hain and Jamie Smith, while Zak Crawley will captain the side for the series, which begins at Headingley on Wednesday 20 September.
