Derbyshire Falcons T20 schedule has been announced, with highly-anticipated clashes against Notts Outlaws and Yorkshire Vikings always eye-catching fixtures in the calendar.

Midlands rivals Outlaws will visit the Incora County Ground on 7 June, as Mickey Arthur’s side aim to change their fortunes in this fixture, having been unable to beat the men in green and gold on the past few encounters.

The arrival of Nottinghamshire legend Samit Patel could change the Falcons’ fortunes, as the all-rounder brings his ability and wealth of experience across the A52.

The Falcons will once again host Yorkshire Vikings at Queen’s Park, as the T20 fixture closes the BRM Solicitors Chesterfield Festival of Cricket for 2024.

Over the past few years, Derbyshire have produced some remarkable victories over the White Rose in the shortest format, and are currently on a six-match winning streak at Chesterfield over the Vikings.

The 2023 fixture saw the Falcons win by a mammoth 144 runs, as the Vikings were dismissed for 68 after Brooke Guest and Leus du Plooy smashed a remarkable 31 runs off the last over of the innings.

New signings Mohammad Amir, Pat Brown, Aneurin Donald, David Lloyd and Ross Whiteley add even more firepower to the Falcons side who love playing at Queen’s Park and they will be hoping to create many more positive memories during the 2024 season!
