This summer, Derbyshire Falcons will host two huge local derbies, as the rivalries with Notts Outlaws and Yorkshire Vikings reignite in the Vitality Blast. 

England’s premiere men’s T20 competition returns from May, with the 2024 edition promising to be bigger than ever, with an emphasis on evening and weekend cricket on prime dates throughout the summer.

The Priority Window for T20 tickets opens on Friday 26 January, and you can sign up now to be the first to get your hands on this summer’s hottest tickets.

The East Midlands Derby

The East Midlands Derby will take place at The Incora County Ground on Friday 7 June, and will see Mickey Arthur’s Falcons take on Notts Outlaws in a bid to claim the local bragging rights.

Vitality Blast legend, Samit Patel, will feature at The Incora County Ground as a Falcons for the first time, against the team he represented for more than two decades, aiming to guide his new side to victory in front of a passionate crowd in Derby.

Yorkshire Vikings at Queen’s Park

Then, exactly one month later, the Falcons face Yorkshire Vikings at Queen’s Park, Chesterfield, to close out an action packed BRM Solicitors Chestefield Festival of Cricket.

Last season, Derbyshire produced a dominant display to earned a Club-record T20 victory, as they beat the White Rose by a mammoth 144 runs, extending their lengthy unbeaten run in the fixture, in front of a sold out crowd at the iconic outground.

The fixture sold out in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 & 2023, and demand is expected to be high once again, so register now to secure your place at one of county cricket’s most unique venues.

Blast Pass 2024 – Be Bold, Be Derbyshire!

Early Bird Blast Passes are available, with prices frozen for a limited time after record early interest.

Six new players have been added to the Derbyshire squad ahead of the 2024 season, with T20 powerhouses Mohammad Amir, Samit Patel, Pat Brown and Ross Whiteley among those aiming to fire the Falcons to glory.

Mickey Arthur’s side already boast the likes of Wayne Madsen, who last year equalled the world record for consecutive T20 scores of 50 or more, and Zak Chappell, who was among the leading wicket-takers in last season’s Vitality Blast, as they target a return to the knockout stages.
