25% of tickets have already been sold for the Vitality Blast fixture against Yorkshire Vikings at Queen’s Park on Sunday 7 July, with the Priority Window still open.
Priority tickets have only been on sale since Friday 26 January, but there has already been a record number of tickets sold before tickets go on general sale from Tuesday 20 February.
The fixture sold out in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022 & 2023, and is on track to do so again in 2024, as Mickey Arthur’s side, bolstered by the additions of five former Vitality Blast winners, aim to build on last season’s Club-record win over the White Rose.
The T20 against the Vikings will close out a huge BRM Solicitors Chesterfield Festival of Cricket, with Derbyshire and Yorkshing battling it out in County Championship and Vitality Blast action.
Queen’s Park is one of the most unique venues in county cricket, with a perfectly green cricket field surrounded by trees and the iconic crooked spire in the distance creating a picturesque scene.
