The 2024 season is drawing even closer now, with only 50 days to go until our first County Championship game on 5 April.
Recruitment across the winter has been strong across all formats, including white ball trophy winners, experienced all-rounders and the announcement of two new captains.
Samit Patel will oversee the white ball side of cricket, with David Lloyd becoming the 45th Club Captain of Derbyshire.
The coaching staff has also seen a new addition, with the arrival of highly-experienced Batting Coach, Ben Smith, alongside Ajmal Shahzad in his role as Assistant Coach (Bowling Lead).
2024 promises to be an extremely exciting season as Mickey Arthur’s side aim to win silverware across all three formats.
